Life, and the world we live on, can contain so many incredibly negative people. It's sad. No, no, hear what I'm saying, it's really sad! We live in a world that has grown smaller than it has ever been. I have mornings where I get to have conversations with friends in Pakistan and India. What other time in history have we ever been able to do that? I can carry on conversations with both of them at the same time. It's amazing! Yet, we have a world filled with negative people. Why? That's a great question but, unfortunately, one that I cannot answer. I do know, however, that one of the best ways to end the negativity, is with something that we have all been blessed with. A smile. It's incredible how much negativity melts away at the sight of a simple, heartfelt smile. It's contageous and sometimes, blossoms into laughter. What, you ask, does this have to do with a book? In book one of the Tokorel series, our heroes are enemies. There is murderous intent when they first meet. But attitude is everything, and eventually they get past those feelings of hate and mistrust. We don't live in a perfect world, but we do live in a world where, with a little effort, we can all learn to laugh and love. Let's try our hardest, shall we? It's the only planet we have to live on for now, so, just for now, let's all smile and make those around us a little happier that we're here.
