About
The year is 1792. After the death of their father, two sisters Elinor and Marianne become financially dependant on their half-brother, whose selfish and greedy wife Fanny wants to get rid of them. When she finds out that there's growing affection between Elinor and Fanny's brother Edward, Fanny accuses Elinor of being motivated by money, and not love. The two sisters and their widowed mother must find themselves a new, more hospitable home. Marianne meets handsome Mr Willoughby and admires him, but her heart is soon in pain when he is sent to London on business.
Later, the sisters learn that Edward and Mr Willoughby both have important secrets in their past that will have consequences in the future. Marianne and Elinor will find themselves at a crossroads with difficult decisions to make, torn between affection and survival, harm and compassion, sense and sensibility.
