Hello, everyone!

I'd just like to let you know that my latest short story, 'Destination Unknown', is out now: http://openbooks.com/books/607-destination-unknown

It's probably my second favourite short story after 'Tom Wilson' (see? I'm not doing the lying thing and saying "this is the best thing ever").

I'd appreciate it if you downloaded it. If you'd like to review it, please go ahead.

Thanks!

It's already on my nook and I am going to read it in the evening. I read your "Tidal Wave" last week. I liked the scenery very much I just wish you could developed the story into something a bit longer and more personal. Was the girl-character inspired by someone you care for or only by the music?

Hey Ula, thanks! And thanks for the honest feedback on "Tidal Wave".

Let me give you a little more background about the story:

A friend of mine is in a rock band called Climate Control. For a few years, I've been involved with the band in terms of writing its biographies and press releases. As a result, he normally lets me listen to the songs before they're released -- including "Tidal Wave". The song really moved me because of its lyrics and pure emotion. I spoke to him about writing a short story and he told me what he envisioned when he wrote it, so we worked together to find an appropriate storyline for it. So, to answer the question: yes, it's based on many different things, including a girl whom I care for, and also the music.

If you'd like to hear the song, here is a link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7mO-GBGwHM

Hey Sergio,
I really liked the fact that you based your story on a song. If you would like to (and the band agrees) I could help you integrate the song and the text into a single eBook file. Although not the same, you can get a feeling of what I am talking about by searching for our books in openbooks.
