Just amazingly intriguing
This is one of my favourite children’s books but it is not only for children. Just on the contrary: adults would probably gain more from this book – they would grasp the allusions, untangle the riddles or understand the context that may be too sophisticated for kids and requires the reader to be more knowledgeable. I love the way Lewis Carroll is playing with words, how he is making fun of the conventional context in which we communicate with each other, especially I love the parts with the Mad Hatter or the King. The Cheshire cat or the bad Queen are also unforgettable characters. This is the story that you can quickly read and enjoy it but not so easy to so quickly understand it fully.
